Welcome to Mrs. Braun's science web page!
I have a great passion for science. It is my hope that students in middle school have an open mind towards new ideas, yet ask questions and become actively involved in discussions and investigations in science class. Students can succeed in my class by being an active participant, asking questions, handing in homework on time, and studying for tests and quizzes.
Students in middle school cover topics from all areas of science. Listed below are some topics covered in each grade level.
6th grade: Physics, Astronomy, Circulatory and Respiratory Systems, Immune System and Diseases, Forestry, Wisconsin, Ecology, Energy
7th Grade: Atomic Structure, Chemistry, Chemical Bonds and Reactions, Cell Division and Genetics, Evolution, History of the Earth
8th Grade: Physics, Electricity, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Radiation, Light, Sounds Waves, Chemistry of Food and Respiration
